Lesson 10 - Grammar 2 - Subjunctive (Le subjonctif)
Step 7: Subjonctif précédé d'un pronom relatif.
The subjunctive is used after the relative pronouns when the noun it replaces is preceded by an indefinite noun marker (i.e. un, plusieurs, quelques, etc.) or a number, and the verb in the main clause implies a doubt about the outcome.
